A Personal blog primarily focused on orcas.
I really, really love the SeaWorld Orlando orcas, know a lot about them, and visit the park often so feel free to ask about them specifically. My knowledge of other parks' orcas is rather limited.
Any pictures I post are mine, unless otherwise stated, older pictures were taken with an iPad 3 but starting in April 2014 most pictures are taken with a DSLR 3200.
Klondike, the 18-year-old polar bear at SeaWorld died today. His sister, Snow, died last year at Reid Park Zoo.
Super sad, no cause of death yet of course.
I got the picture from the WESH Article.
Today is sad
rest in peace. Was this the one who would turn and walk backwards?
Polar bears in zoos/aquariums are pretty much always sad. :( RIP Klondike.
Via:Freedom for whales!!!!
Poor guy. I’m surprised you survived so long in Seaworld’s pathetic excuses of polar bear enclosures. RIP
